Equine & Nature Infused

A modality that is not only my passion, but it also played a big role in shaping my professional career.

Exchanging the outdoor therapy room for the indoors, my approach stays the same, and I still work holistically, integrative and solution focussed though a trauma sensitive lens.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and/or Counselling (EAP), is an experiential approach that addresses individual and group psychotherapy goals.

The sessions are practical and engaging and offer an alternative to traditional talking-only therapy.

Equine Assisted Learning and Personal Growth (EAL), on the other hand, is an experiential approach that promotes the development of life skills for educational, professional and personal goals.

Socio-emotional skills, such as communication and problem-solving, in group and individual sessions, for both children and adults (including CEOs!), are possible.

The professional team for both EAP and EAL consist of a trained mental health professional (therapist, coach or counsellor), often an equine behavioural specialist, and then of course the equines and you as client.
